Creative Arts
Beyond the boundaries of imagination
The "creative arts" encompass the worlds of theatre, film, publishing, dance, music, video, fine art, writing, animation, design, television, and are key contributors to the development of culture, shaping and being shaped by, our individual and collective identities. The arts are dynamic, reflecting the changes in society, adding to our understanding and appreciation of our culture, values and attitudes.
Creative arts at York reflects the multidisciplinary and global focus of the university.
