Admission and application procedures

Students transferring from a community college

  1. Make sure you meet our general minimum admission requirements* as follows:
    • Completion of a diploma program or at least two full semesters at an accredited college, OR
    • One year of full-time academic studies at an accredited college.
    • Minimum overall average of 3.0 on a 4-point scale (B/70% or equivalent).
    • All attempted college courses will be included in the calculation of your cumulative grade point average.
  2. Make sure you meet Faculty-specific admission requirements since some programs have higher averages or have supplementary procedures for admission.
  3. Make sure you know what the deadlines are for applying.
  4. Submit your application for admission.
  5. Make sure you submit all required documentation.
  6. If you have a diagnosed physical, learning or psychiatric disability, you may want to request modified admission consideration.
