The Tri Toronto Tour provides you with the opportunity to experience three distinct universities and explore the infinite opportunities your students will have at their fingertips while studying in the largest and most diverse city in Canada - Toronto!

Eligibility:
- You are a counsellor supporting high school students considering studying abroad
- You work at a school located outside of Canada (all three institutions have initiatives in place for counsellors in Canada, please connect with the relevant teams if interested)
- You have not attended a Tri Toronto Tour in previous years
- You are able to commit to the entire duration of the tour: Arriving on Saturday June 9, departing on Friday June 15
- Please note, only one counsellor per school will be considered each year
Expectations:
- You are provided accommodation during the duration of the tour (from Saturday June 9, checking out on Friday June 15) at the Student Residence, but unfortunately we are not able to accommodate any additional guests
- We are unable to extend your accommodation outside tour dates, but we will be glad to provide suggestions should you require information on this matter.
- Airport pick-up and drop-off is only available on arrival and departure dates: Arriving on Saturday June 9, departing on Friday June 15
- Meals and snacks will be provided during on-campus programming from 8 a.m. -5 p.m. Breakfast is included with residence. Once you return to residence, will be happy to provide dinner suggestions and help with restaurant reservations should you require assistance
Beginning Saturday, June 9, on-campus housing will be provided at the University of Toronto's student residence. The University of Toronto is centrally located steps away from entertainment, restaurants, and shopping centers. Guests will be given suites; suites are shared with two or three individuals. All suites feature single occupancy bedrooms, a lounge area, and shared bathroom(s).
Please note, all tour participants must be checked out of their rooms by 12pm on Friday, June 15.
The host institutions will provide transportation to and from the airport, on-campus accommodations, meals only during scheduled on-campus programming and transportation between campuses for the duration of the tour.
Participants will be responsible for arranging their transportation to and from Toronto. Please do not make any travel arrangements until you have received your registration confirmation.
It is strongly recommended that participants obtain travel/health insurance for the duration of their stay in Canada.
Once the Tri Toronto Tour Committee has confirmed your acceptance as a 2018 tour participant, a $50 refundable deposit will be requested, further details will be provided in your tour acceptance email. The full deposit will be refunded upon completion of Tri Toronto Tour programming.

Air Travel
Toronto is serviced by two airports, Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Almost all major airlines will fly into Pearson International. Flights on Porter Airlines will fly into the Billy Bishop Airport.
Driving
Toronto is a close drive from many major American cities. Less than 2 hours from Buffalo, just over 5 hours from Pittsburgh and Cleveland and about an 8.5 hour drive from NYC, Chicago and Philadelphia. Should you elect to drive please let us know so that parking arrangements may be made.
Train
Toronto is also serviced by VIA Rail. Trains arrive at Union Station in downtown Toronto. There are three subway stations adjacent to the University of Toronto: St. George, Museum and Queens Park station. All of these stations are on Line 1, Yonge-University line.

- If your plans change (after you have applied) please let us know
- You can expect an official response from the committee by mid-January
- Please do not make any travel arrangements until you receive confirmation from the organizing committee
- Once your place has been confirmed, you will be asked to submit the $50 refundable deposit
- Visa letters (if needed) will be available as of early March
