Accredited by CPA Ontario (Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario), the Schulich Master of Accounting is an academically rigorous and highly intensive full-time program designed to prepare students for a career in professional accountancy.

Study with one of Canada’s best accounting faculties to master accounting functions and hone the ability to make decisions within legal, financial, regulatory and ethical frameworks. With its focus on case based integrated learning, the Schulich MAcc is structured to prepare its graduates for the complex field of accounting, while fast-tracking them through CPA Ontario’s Professional Education Program.

The Schulich MAcc offers three distinct entry points depending on your academic background, aligning you for success in the complex field of accounting.

The Diploma in Intermediate Accounting  (DIAc) provides non-business graduates as well as individuals that have graduated from non-Canadian institutions with the pre-requisites required to stream seamlessly into the MAcc. Students who begin in the DIAc begin their studies in the summer term. Business graduates from CPA Accredited programs and Canadian business degrees commence the MAcc in the fall. Schulich i/BBA graduates from the CPA stream may start the MAcc in summer.

Successful graduates of the program possess in-depth knowledge in all sub-disciplines that constitute the broad field of accounting and will have also deepened their expertise in two of the program’s areas of specialized electives: tax, assurance, performance management or finance.
