The Graduate Diploma in Biotechnology addresses an unfilled need in the Canadian Biotechnology Industry. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, enormous stress has been put on Canadian society, and the biotechnology industry has been leaned on heavily to bring forward high-value strategies and pharmaceutical options with many job openings remaining unfilled. The Graduate Diploma in Biotechnology is designed to increase the available pool of trained talent for the biotechnology industry and to strengthen the biotechnology ecosystem.

The Master’s in Biotechnology Management focuses on how modern biotechnology management is performed and surveys the scientific, ethical, and societal contexts. The program is designed to appeal to students who hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Life Science, or a related discipline, and have little to no work experience in Biotechnology.

The program is interdisciplinary – drawing widely from the humanities, social sciences, environmental studies, fine arts, education and law.

Canada’s only dedicated MFA program in Screenwriting trains students in all aspects of writing for the screen, including television and cinema. MA: Un programme interdisciplinaire unique comportant une double spécialisation en littérature française et en linguistique française et offrant des cours uniquement en français sur les deux campus de York. Les étudiants auront l'occasion de rechercher et d'étudier la langue de la France, du Canada français et des communautés françaises du monde entier. Les spécialisations comprennent : théorie et domaines littéraires ; Littérature féminine ; Linguistique descriptive et théorique ; Sociolinguistique ; L'apprentissage de la langue française dans un contexte canadien.

PHD: Un programme offert entièrement en français, particulièrement pertinent pour les communautés francophones de l’Ontario, propose des programmes d’études innovants et des opportunités de recherche présentant des liens avec d’autres disciplines telles que la traduction, le droit, l’histoire, la philosophie, la sociologie, la psychologie, les sciences cognitives et les affaires publiques. Les étudiants sont encouragés à appliquer et à remettre en question des perspectives théoriques plurielles tout en acquérant un aperçu approfondi des variétés de français et des littératures du monde francophone.
