Practical ethics is an exciting new area of multidisciplinary study and research which provides the opportunity to apply ethical concepts and principles to contemporary social issues. The courses address questions of applied ethics and public policy in the fields of anthropology, economics, environmental studies, humanities, philosophy, political science, social science and sociology.

You may earn a General Certificate in Practical Ethics concurrent with fulfillment of the requirements for a bachelor’s degree. Practical ethics is an exciting new area of multidisciplinary study and research which provides the opportunity to apply ethical concepts and principles to contemporary social issues. The courses offered as part of the General Certificate in Practical Ethics enables you to address questions of applied ethics and public policy in the fields of anthropology, economics, environmental studies, humanities, philosophy, political science, social science and sociology.
