Programs Closed to New Applications

As programs may close to new applications before the deadline date and before the start of the academic session, admission to a particular entry point or program is not guaranteed. Students are encouraged to submit all documentation well in advance of posted deadlines to receive early consideration.

  • Closed programs will be clearly identified on the Program Application Update page.
  • If your program has closed, you may receive an alternative offer to a program that suits your credentials and interests.
  • Meeting deadlines and minimum admission requirements is not a guarantee of admission.
  • Deadlines apply to both full-time and part-time studies.
  • All applicants are encouraged to submit documents well before the posted deadlines.
  • Applications are reviewed when all documentation has been submitted.

Supplementary Information/Evaluation

Schulich School of Business and Social Work: We strongly recommend that you complete and send your supplementary information forms as soon as possible after submitting your application.

Please refer to the School of the Arts, Media, Performance & Design website for supplementary evaluation process information and dates. 

Concurrent Education

  • Direct-Entry Education (Ontario high-school students) Application deadline January 14, 2015. Supplementary application form deadline is April 10, 2015
  • Technological Education (program begins May 2015) – Application deadline is January 31, 2015 and Supplementary Application & Letters of Reference deadline is February 28, 2015

Consecutive Education

Application deadline is December 1, 2014 and Supplementary & Letter of Reference deadline is December 16, 2014.

  • If your program has closed, you may receive an alternative offer to a program that suits your credentials and interests. This represents an excellent opportunity to explore other program areas. You may also decide to apply to your first choice as a second major or new program once you come to York.
  • Applications are reviewed once all outstanding documentation has been submitted. You are encouraged to submit documents quickly to expedite consideration.
