Type of undergraduate application	When to use it
The Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC) application	You want to apply to degree studies for any session except as listed below (Ontario high-school students should see their guidance office).
York University's application: online or hard-copy (pdf)	You're a previous York student, OR You want to take courses as a Visiting Student, OR You want to apply to a certificate

Important: All documents must be originals. Replaceable documents become the property of York University and will not be returned. We keep supporting documents for one year, after which we destroy materials related to your application.

If request is made upon application, irreplaceable documents will be returned to the original document holder.
