LAPS Global Political Studies
Studying with internationally renowned instructors, Global Political Studies will provide you with diverse ways of thinking about 'the global' and globalization, as well as political community, diversity, inequality and transformations in politics. Examine power and its abuses, war and conflict, rights, responsibilities and democratic possibilities.
You'll engage in open discussions about some of the world's most contentious political issues while understanding how people act politically to create change.
What are the roots of international terrorism? How is world trade affecting the balance of rich and poor nations? What is the effect of the Internet on diplomacy and social movements? This program, offered by our renowned Department of Politics, helps you answers questions such as these.
