Warning about fraudulent offers of admission and scholarships

York University is aware that fraudulent third parties are misrepresenting themselves as agents, staff, or officers of the University and extending fraudulent offers of admission and scholarships to students. Protect yourself by understanding how York University does and does not communicate with students.

In-Person Student Support & Advising Services with QLESS

Drop-in support is now available for students seeking answers to Student Support & Advising services. Students will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis.

Note: For all OSAP inquiries, please ensure that you have uploaded your OSAP documents directly to your OSAP account.

How to use QLESS:

  1. Download the app on your smartphone from Google Play or the iTunes App Store.
  2. Open the app and select "Admissions Enquiries" for admission client services. You can also get in Que.
  3. Once you are in the Que, you will receive an SMS confirmation advising you to see one of our service desks. Completion of the YU Screening questionnaire is required.

QLESS Hours of Operation:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  2. You will receive a text message (not an email) with the Zoom ID and password

  4. QLess must be utilized in order to connect with a Live Agent via Zoom.
