  • The Virtual International Open House will be offered through Zoom Events. You can register for the event with your existing Zoom account, or as a guest.
  • After registration you will receive a confirmation email directly from Zoom Events. Please save the email as it contains your ticket to join the event.
  • Zoom event tickets cannot be shared by multiple users. If multiple members of your family are interested in attending the event, we recommend each person register separately so everyone can enjoy the virtual event from their own devices simultaneously.

Join with Zoom Account

If you registered for Open House with your Zoom account, here are two ways you can join the event:

Option 1

  • Open the Zoom Events confirmation email.
  • Click View Ticket. This will redirect you to the event’s ticket.
  • Sign in with your Zoom account.
  • Click Join.

Option 2

  1. Go to Virtual International Open House event page.
  2. Desktop user: Sign In at the top right corner of your screen.
    Mobile user: Click the hamburger button (the triple bar ☰) at your top right corner, then click Sign In.
  3. Sign in with your Zoom account.
  4. Click Join Lobby.

Join as a Guest

If you registered for Open House as a guest and you do not have a Zoom account:

  1. Open the Zoom Events confirmation email.
  2. Click Join Lobby.
  • You can join the Virtual International Open House on a desktop browser. If you are using a mobile browser, you will be redirected to the Zoom app (or prompted to download the Zoom app) when joining information sessions.
  • Joining audio by Zoom Phone or dial-in is not available at this event.

 

The Virtual International Open House event page is now open for you to explore!

To visit the event page, please follow the instructions in the “How to Join the Open House” tab. Once you are in the event page, please follow the tips listed below.

  • Find the main tabs to navigate the Open House successfully. The tabs are located at the top right corner of your screen for desktop users, or under the hamburger button (the triple bar ☰) at the top right corner for mobile users:
    • Lobby: Lobby is where you begin your day at the Open House! In the Lobby, Welcome Desk is available to assist you via chat. To join the Welcome Desk chat room, click the blue floating chat icon.
    • Sessions: In this tab, you can explore the live information session details, schedule, and the speaker information. Use the Filter function on top of the session list to help you narrow down the sessions selections that meet your interests. When you find your favorite sessions, don’t forget to bookmark them.
    • Itinerary: You can find your bookmarked sessions in the Itinerary tab.
    • Expo: In the Expo, you will find virtual booths where you can join video meetings and/or chat rooms with the representatives from Admissions Office and Faculties. This is where you can ask specific questions you may have about our programs and admission requirements. Desktop users can click Map icon at the bottom left corner to find all the available booths. You can also click Setting icon to cancel Spatial View.
  • Live sessions will be recorded and posted under Sessions tab for registered participants until December 17.
