We're delighted to welcome you to campus this May 28! Join us for a morning of networking, learning and exploring our facilities at our in-person Guidance Counsellor Day at Keele Campus, York University.

At our 2026 Guidance Counsellor Day, step into the beautiful and sunlit Joan and Martin Goldfarb Gallery, a brand new campus space where fine art and education meet.

You will gain valuable insight into how you can support your students on their journey to York, learn about alternative admissions and entry points for our most competitive programs, discover unique combined degree offerings and find out about options for the undecided applicant. Kicking off the morning’s sessions will be a networking breakfast and keynote address from Yvette Munro, Vice Provost Students.

Networking Breakfast with the Vice Provost Students

Gather in the Gallery Lobby for a light breakfast, meet fellow Guidance Counsellors and hear from Yvette Munro, Vice Provost Students, on how York offers crucial student support from application to graduation. 


Presentation: Alternatives to Competitive Programs

What happens when a student doesn’t get into their top choice  which also happens to be the top choice for thousands of other applicants? Learn more about how York offers alternative pathways and entry points to our limited enrolment programs.


Presentation: Unique Degree Combinations

York University is a leader in offering programs that move beyond the traditional four-year degree. From Dual Degree to Bachelors/Masters combinations, learn how your students can combine passion with purpose in ways that stand out. 


Presentation: Options for the Undecided Student

Many students are ready for the university experience, but some are still left with uncertainty as to what they should choose. Find out more about how York offers those students different ways to keep their options open while still progressing through their degree on the usual schedule.

Getting to Keele Campus

A number of transit systems from across the GTA take you directly to the Keele Campus. Use our campus map or Google Maps for transit information and directions to The Goldfarb Gallery.

TTC Subway: Take Line 1 to the York University subway station. Take the South exit toward the Accolade East Building and walk north up York Blvd.

Event parking will be available for registered guests at the Student Services Parking Garage #84 located in the Bennett Centre for Students Services at 99 Ian MacDonald Blvd. Nearby buildings include Accolade West, Seymour Schulich building, Second Student Centre, Health, Nursing, Environmental Studies building.

A complimentary parking code and instructions will be provided to registered guests in advance of the event. Guests must use their attendee code to access parking with Honk Mobile
