The cross-disciplinary certificate in Digital Health equips you to lead in the evolving field of health information management. As digital systems play an increasingly vital role in patient care, this certificate explores the societal implications, practical applications, and emerging challenges in digital health and health informatics. You will gain hands-on experience in database design, user needs analysis, Electronic Health Records (EHRs), information system management, and evidence-based decision-making.
This certificate can be completed as part of current York undergraduate degree studies (concurrent certificate) or as a stand-alone credential (consecutive certificate) if you have previously completed an accredited university degree or college diploma and meet minimum requirements for admission.
Courses are delivered in-person. The program can typically be completed within one to two years, depending on your course load.
