Anthropology

Explore how people are subjected to, participate in, and contest living in a world, interconnected by powerful economic, cultural and technological forces. 

Cognitive Science

Examine the nature of thought, memory, perception, and language. Focus on areas like AI, linguistic development, comparative cognition, and philosophical psychology. 

Gender and Women's Studies

Learn to analyze and identify intersections of gender, race, class, age, ability and sexuality as they operate in popular culture, everyday, life, art, science, law, politics, economies, and societies.

History

With courses that cover antiquity to the fall of communism, our undergraduate program allows you to choose a specialization from a vast selection of areas.

Indigenous Studies

Indigenous studies draws on elder teachings, ceremonies and theories developed by indigenous scholars to explore the multiple experiences of indigenous communities in Canada and worldwide the program also examines Treaty rights and relationships.

Philosophy

Covering views that include Western, East Asian, African and Islamic thought, our courses deliver a deep understanding of philosophy. You’ll explore how the concepts of freedom, happiness, and justice have evolved over time.

Les études autochtones s’appuient sur les enseignements des Aînés, les cérémonies et les théories développées par des universitaires autochtones pour explorer les expériences multiples des communautés autochtones au Canada et dans le monde entier. Le programme examine également les droits et les relations issus des traités.

PHILOSOPHIE
