Psychology
Explore how the mind works and why we behave the way we do with a Psychology degree. Choose from more course selections than any other university in Canada and gain hands-on experience through research, labs, community projects, or an optional co-op. Add a career-focused certificate in counselling, aging, data analysis, or rehabilitation services.
Psychology
How does the mind work? Why do we behave the way we do? The experts in our Psychology program answer these questions and more with the help of small classes and hands-on experience. Explore a wide variety of topics including neuropsychology, crime and the justice system, perception, psychological injury and law, prejudice, aging and more.
Neuroscience
Neuroscience investigates the development, structure and function of the nervous system, including the ways it can change. From cellular/molecular to cognitive/behavioral to whole neural systems, you will choose your stream and attain hands-on research proficiency with a fourth-year capstone course.
Cognitive Science
Explore thought, memory, perception and language through an interdisciplinary approach that combines psychology, neuroscience, AI, linguistics and philosophy. Gain hands-on experience through workshops and a speaker series featuring leading researchers. Learn how we perceive, think, decide, learn and feel—and how these processes vary across adults, children and other animals.
Social Work
We are critical social work leaders committed to social justice, human rights and equity. We work with groups who have been marginalized and produce research that has a tangible impact on the community. Our dedicated instructors use anti-oppressive and decolonial curriculum dedicated to social transformation and justice. Our program is accredited by the Canadian Association for Social Work Education.
