This certificate can be earned in conjunction with the Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours or Bachelor of Science (BSc) Honours options in Psychology in the Faculty of Health.
The Counselling and Mental Health certificate allows students to study mental health and counseling psychology in greater depth. Exploring common disorders, ethical guidelines, and how social systems impact well-being, allowing students to build foundational skills in counselling, therapeutic relationships, and mental health across the lifespan.
Who can take it?
This certificate is open to current York students completing an Honours BA or Honours BSc within the Department of Psychology in the Faculty of Health and meet the Counselling and Mental Health admission criteria.
