The iBA and iBSc degree programs reflect York's commitment to providing our students with opportunities for gaining international experience and for developing the skills to function effectively in the world.

International experience is central to the program as is language acquisition. You will be required take an international language and to gain international experience on exchange at one of York University's partner institutions abroad. All students in the iBA and iBSc programs will complete at least one term of exchange study, normally in the third year of the program. While on formal exchange, students remain enrolled at York while completing and earning credits towards their course of study abroad.

You'll benefit from enhanced interdisciplinary and cross-cultural knowledge – important components of the department's academic focus.
